The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between self-management and quality of work life with the effectiveness of elementary school principals in Bushehr County. The statistical population consists of all elementary school principals in Bushehr County in the year 1401, totaling 250 individuals. Using Cochran’s formula, a sample size of 105 individuals was selected. Data collection was conducted using standard and validated questionnaires related to each variable, and data analysis was performed using statistical tests in SPSS software. The results showed a significant relationship between self-management and quality of work life with the effectiveness of the principals. Additionally, there were significant differences among principals regarding self-management, quality of work life, and effectiveness. It was also found that there is a significant difference in self-management between male and female principals, while the two other variables—quality of work life and effectiveness—did not show significant differences, with the average for female principals being higher than that of their male counterparts. Regarding the differences in self-management, quality of work life, and effectiveness based on educational level, it was determined that the variance among different educational groups of principals was equal for the variables of quality of work life and effectiveness, but not for self-management, which showed significant differences based on their educational levels.
