The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of teacher's professional skills on the academic performance and quality of students' learning. The research method was quantitative according to the applied purpose, according to the type of data, cross-sectional according to the time of data collection, and descriptive-correlation according to the method of data collection or the nature and method of the research. The statistical population of this research includes all high school students in Tehran who were studying in the academic year 1402-1403, 350 of whom were randomly selected by multi-stage cluster sampling from different schools in four districts of Tehran. became In order to collect the required data, the standard questionnaires of teachers' professional skills of Hajizadeh (2013), Dartaj's academic performance (2013), and evaluation of students' learning quality by Rahmani Akhkand (2013) were used. In order to calculate validity, content and construct validity were used, and in order to calculate reliability, Cronbach's alpha coefficient and composite reliability coefficient were used, and the results indicated the validity and reliability of the research questionnaires. Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, skewness and kurtosis) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation and multivariate regression with SPSS-V.23 software) were used to analyze the data. The results of the research indicated that teachers' professional skills play a role in students' academic performance and learning quality.
