Abstract:   (113 Views)
The aim of this article is to explain the issue of anti-superstition in Farrokhi Yazdi's Divan of poems during the Iranian Constitutional Era. He is one of the most influential thinkers and literary critics in the history of Iran. With extraordinary boldness, he protests and rejects the injustices, superstitions, and tyranny imposed on popular culture. In the present article, which is written using a descriptive-analytical method, with a look at the intellectual and historical contexts of Farrokhi Yazdi's turbulent era, an attempt is made to discuss his most important enlightening and anti-superstitional views in the form of protest poetry and literary criticism in a general context. The result of this study shows that Farrokhi Yazdi, without being influenced by the atmosphere prevailing in the Iranian society of his era, has played an unparalleled role in eliminating the compound ignorance and superstition of Iranians, following the free intellectuals such as Malek Shoara-e Bahar and Arif Qazvini, etc.
