Abstract:   (30 Views)
The professional ethics of employees is one of the influential factors in fostering spirituality and reducing administrative corruption within organizations. One of the elements that impacts the professional ethics of employees is their personality traits. This research aims to determine the relationship between the personality dimensions of employees (neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and duty orientation) and their professional ethics (responsibility, striving for excellence and competitiveness, honesty, respect for others, respect for social values and norms, justice and fairness, empathy toward others, and loyalty) within the Education Department of Bushehr Province. Based on this, five hypotheses were formulated. To achieve this, two questionnaires titled “NEO Five-Factor Personality Inventory” and “Professional Ethics Questionnaire” were distributed among a statistical population of 729 employees, with a sample size of 251 participants. After completion, the data were analyzed using statistical techniques and the software Lisrel and SPSS. Testing the formulated hypotheses yielded results that led to recommendations for enhancing professional ethics within the organization, which are presented at the end of the research.
