Abstract:   (135 Views)
The general purpose of this research was to predict school satisfaction based on academic resilience, academic self-efficacy and student achievement goals. The method of the present research was quantitative in terms of the applied purpose, in terms of the type of data and correlational in terms of the nature of the study. The statistical population includes all 10th grade male students of the 2nd high school in the 1st education region of Tehran, which included 2000 people. The samples were obtained using Cochran's formula, equivalent to 377 people. Measurement tools include the School Satisfaction Scale (MSLSS) by Scott Huebner (1991), Samuels' Academic Resilience Questionnaire (2004), Jerry Jing and Morgan's (2000) Academic Self-Efficacy Questionnaire, and Midgley et al.'s (1998) Achievement Goals Questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics as well as inferential statistics including Pearson's correlation and multiple regression. Based on the findings of the present research, academic resilience, academic self-efficacy, mastery goals and performance goals have the ability to predict school satisfaction.
