The aim of the current research is to Prediction of early maladaptive schemas based on perceived parenting style in women with family problems. The statistical population of this research includes all married women with family problems who referred to psychological clinics in Tehran in 1403. Among these people, 270 people were selected as a sample using available sampling method, after the questionnaires were dropped, the number of the remaining sample was 256 people. The research tools were questionnaires of early maladaptive schemas of Young-Short Form (1998), and Buri's perceived parenting styles (1991), which had acceptable validity and reliability. In order to analyze the data, inferential statistics of Pearson's correlation coefficient and structural equation modeling were used using SPSS-16 and SmartPLS.V3 software. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between perceived parenting styles and initial maladaptive schemas in women with family problems. The results indicated that there is a relationship between perceived parenting styles and early maladaptive schemas. This means that the perceived parenting styles can predict the initial maladaptive schemas in women with family problems. The results showed that authoritarian parenting style has the most predictive power for early maladaptive schemas, especially in the area of cutting and rejection.
