The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing emotional exhaustion in online and face-to-face employees. The statistical population of this research includes all employees in Tehran in 1401. The number of sample members is considered to be 384 using Cohen's formula, who were selected as available sampling. The main data of this research was obtained by using the emotional exhaustion questionnaire of Moslesh and Jackson (1981). Descriptive statistics (central indices, dispersion) and inferential statistics (t test) were used in data analysis. The results of the research indicated that emotional exhaustion in online workers is different from face-to-face. According to the results of the research, it is suggested that the human resources unit, in collaboration with the organizational psychologist, should check the applicants' morale according to the relevant job level during recruitment, in order to hire the best possible person with personality and emotional characteristics suitable for the job (online or face-to-face). as a result of which will help to reduce the emotional burnout of employees.
