The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of solution-focused training on the components of psychological disturbance couples referring to counseling centers in Isfahan city. The research method is semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the research was formed by all the couples who referred to counseling centers in Isfahan city, from among them, 30 people were randomly selected in an experimental group (15 people) and a control group (15 people) were assigned. The experimental group was trained for 7 sessions of 60 minutes, and the control group remained on the waiting list. The tools used in the current research included Psychological disturbance Questionnaire (Drogatis et al., 1973). The analysis of the information obtained from the implementation of the questionnaire was done in two descriptive and inferential parts (analysis of covariance). The results showed that the solution-focused treatment has reduced the psychological disturbance and components of anxiety, depression and self-diagnosis in the couples referring to counseling centers in Isfahan city. These results can be a support for using this counseling method to reduce psychological turmoil in couples to prevent the collapse of the family foundation and improve marital relations.
